Ellen is passionate about helping stray dogs and cats. She has a special place in her heart for scruffy terriers and crazy dogs.

Paige focuses her skills in emergency and critical care medicine. Her volunteer experience includes multiple years in high-volume MASH style spay/neuter in Mexico, Territorio De Zaguates dog sanctuary in Costa Rica, and spay/neuter in Guatemala.
Paige loves photography, hiking, physical fitness, and anything that brings her close to the water. She is always on the lookout for her next adventure where she can make a positive impact on the world.

Kirsten is skilled in general and surgical small animal medicine. She has repeat experience as a volunteer in high-volume, fast-paced surgery in Mexico, and in disaster response.
Kirsten enjoys outdoor activities, including running with her tripod rescue dog.

Nicole is skilled in general and surgical small animal medicine. She most recently returned from Texas where she helped care for animals after Hurricane Harvey. She also has experience in animal shelters and is a volunteer with the Red Cross disaster action team.
Nicole is very adventurous and always willing to try new things. She loves traveling and exploring different places & cultures, being outdoors, and spending time with family.

Caleigh Q, LVT
Caleigh is skilled in small animal surgical and general medicine. She most recently returned from Florida where she helped dogs and cats after Hurricane Michael. She has also volunteered in spay/neuter at an animal shelter in Costa Rica.
Caleigh loves horseback riding, travel, and adventure. She is passionate about ocean conservation and education.

Ashley is skilled in small and large animal medicine. Her volunteer experiences include spay/neuter clinics, animal shelters, and farms. She most recently returned from Houston, TX where she volunteered to care for dogs and cats rescued from Hurricane Harvey.
Ashley's Interests include riding horses, hiking, snowboarding, and traveling.

Joanna is skilled in general practice with a current specialty in internal medicine. She has also worked in all aspects of animal welfare at PAWS animal shelter. Her volunteer experience includes high-volume MASH style spay/neuter in Mexico, PAWS wildlife center, and Hope for Horses.
Joanna likes hiking and camping. She has two 3-legged rescue cats and she has a special place in her heart for Boxer dogs.

Cassady brings her skills to emergency, critical care, and oncology. Her volunteer experience includes Best Friends Animal Society on location in Houston, PAWS Wildlife Center, and high-volume MASH-style spay/neuter clinics in Mexico.
Cassady loves hiking, backpacking, and swimming, and has a passion for traveling. In her down time, she enjoys reading a good book or spending time with friends and family.

Melissa is skilled in general and emergency small animal medicine. She most recently returned from Guatemala where she helped care for sea turtles and other marine animals. She also has volunteer experience with spay/neuter and feral cats.

Elyse is on the team of a 24-hour specialty clinic that caters towards local rescues and clients with limited funds. She has a special interest in anesthesia, and routinely monitors high-risk patients during complex surgical procedures. She recently returned from volunteering in Guatemala to help marine animal conservation.
Elyse enjoys yoga, theater, and home renovation. She has a strong passion for rescue medicine, and hopes to one day open a reptile sanctuary for special needs pets.
Justyna M, LVT
Justyna is skilled in surgical assistance and anesthesia. Her volunteer experiences include Community Led Animal Welfare in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Justyna is an avid hiker and backpacker and loves to travel.

Regina has extensive experience in wildlife and exotic medicine, and working with feral cats. Her volunteer experience includes the Humane Society Veterinary Medicine Association and the Maui Humane society. She is highly skilled in high-volume spay/neuter MASH-style clinics.

Carly has over 8 years experience in veterinary medicine and is especially skilled in emergency and ICU, both as a nurse and a mentor. Her previous volunteer experience includes working with large animals at Pasado's Safe Haven, and as an instructor for vet tech students in Central America with World Vets.
Carly loves outdoor activities, cooking, travel, and photography. She is currently working toward a degree in global studies and biology, with a focus on social justice and human/animal/environmental rights. Her passion is exploring and making a difference in the world.
